Approximately 1.5 miles from beautiful downtown Mason, "Das Kleine Haus" is a private, secluded, and perfect hide-a-way. It can easily accommodate a couple but no more than four guests. The three room, climate controlled structure has a shared living/bedroom area as well as a kitchen/dining room. There is a small bathroom with a shower. It does not have a full kitchen, but consists of a small refrigerator, 3-in-1 toaster oven, and a microwave.
The sleeping area has a double bed, chest of drawers, and a small closet. The couch in the living area folds out into a queen size bed. There is no cable or dish service, but a TV is mounted on the wall with a VCR/DVD hookup that can be viewed from either the bedroom or living area, so bring your favorite movies. There is no telephone service and some cell phones may not work in this area.
Linens will be furnished and you are welcome to bring your favorite pillow and/or blanket. Pillows and blankets are available upon request.
Continental breakfast may include cereal, fruit, coffee, juice or tea.
For one or two guests, the rates are as follows:
$50.00 per night, plus
$10.00 for each additional guest per night - maximum 2.
All prices are subject to taxes and a deposit of the first night's stay is required to hold the reservation. The deposit must be received within 7 days of making the reservation or it cancels. Full payment is expected upon arrival - either cash or money order. No personal checks or credit cards. Any cancellations less than 24 hours from the 3:00 p.m. check-in time will forfeit the deposit. Checkout time is 11:00 a.m.
Absolutely NO smoking.
Absolutely NO pets, and
NO children under 6 years of age.
Before entrance to the property, you must sign a release of claims and waiver of liability.
You may enjoy bird watching, deer, livestock, and occasionally rabbits, turkey, quail and other wildlife. You may hear coyotes howling late at night or early in the morning. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset, and on a clear night, enjoy the stars in our heavens.
