One of the first houses built in Mason in 1869 by cattle baron, John W. Gamel. He gave land to establish the town of Mason. It is completely restored and furnished with antiques. Located next to the square, but still very private, especially the back sitting area under a huge oak tree where Gamel sold drinks to soldiers of Fort Mason. Also the site of the legendary "Gamel Gold" hidden somewhere on the property. No digging, please!

Sorry, no smoking in the house, no facilities for pets, and no small children.

Come and stay where some of Mason's colorful history actually took place.

Sleeps four. Gene and Patsy Zesch welcome you! 325/347-5531
